Chocolate Chip Chocolate Muffins

I made these on the same day I made the lemon matcha marble cake. My brother brought them to church as a snack for his Bible drill the next day.

Here's what I think... Next time, I will increase the amount of chocolate chips. Other than that, I was happy with how the muffins turned out. I wasn't able to get the pretty cracked tops that most muffins have though.

I was able to make 14 muffins. Make sure not to over bake them, otherwise they will be a bit dry. I wasn't able to get the pretty cracked tops that most muffins have though. I also decreased the sugar by one to two tablespoons, so maybe that's why?

I got the recipe from Brown Eyed Baker, who got it from Dorie Greenspan.

  6. crustabakes, I know right? They help muffins become moist too, if the muffin was originally a bit dry.

j3ss kitch3n, I used to hate adding too much chocolate chips to things, but I guess with muffins you kind of have to do that. :)

Cooking Gallery, They're also really easy to make. It only takes a few minutes before you can pop them in the oven.

Lena, Haha, you can even have them for breakfast...although that may not be nutritious.

Zoe, I only have 1 cupcake tin, so I used my square tin. I have to say, using the square tin and then storing my muffins later save a lot of space. :D
